“When clients need to move quickly on a financial decision or a change, they appreciate that I get things done efficiently.”
Dee’s Role at Marshall Financial
If a client wants to make an investment trade or transfer money between accounts, or one of our Wealth Advisors recommends a change to a client’s portfolio, Dee is the person who makes it happen. Dee is our liaison with Schwab, handling the paperwork and other details needed to set account changes in motion. It’s a perfect role for someone who’s valued for her attention to detail and efficiency.
While much of Dee’s work happens behind the scenes, she loves talking with clients and helping them with a question or request. “I’ve processed paperwork for every one of our clients,” she says. “If I need to jump in on a call, they appreciate that I already know a lot about them.”
Dee joined Marshall as a paraplanner after an 11-year career in banking. In addition to her operations role, she supports Chief Compliance Officer Dan Cairns, helping ensure our staff adheres to the policies and procedures designed to safeguard our clients’ information.
Get to Know Dee
Professional development is a priority for Dee, who’s continually taken on increasing responsibility, accepted new challenges, and advanced her knowledge of financial services. She’s currently enrolled in the Investment Adviser Certified Compliance Professional Program (IACCP), to improve and certify her knowledge of the regulatory requirements investment advisors need to adhere to.
Giving back to the community is equally important to Dee. She volunteers as a meal server at the re:VIVALS Outreach Center, a faith-based community center in Perkasie that provides counseling and nutritious food to those in need. “I find it so rewarding just to be able to help with the meals,” she says, noting that some nights the group serves up to 200 people.
