Supporting Our Local Communities

For over 40 years, Marshall Financial Group has taken an active role in the Doylestown community. From partnering with community organizations and sponsoring local Bucks County events to our historical office building, we strive to #supportlocal.

A Piece of Doylestown History
Our Building

In 1832 Pugh Dungan, a member of the Doylestown town council, purchased 33 West Court Street – which at the time was only an empty lot. He built a 2 ½ story, five bay, stucco brick and fieldstone home, featuring a single bay portico supported by Doric columns.

Since the Dungan family, the home has seen a multitude of owners, but perhaps the most notable was local lawyer Wynne James, who purchased it in 1897. His wife, Mrs. “Mai” James was known for hosting musical soirees with celebrity partygoers by the likes of Nelson Eddy.

After the building was converted to offices, it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Visit Doylestown

Heading to our office for a meeting? There’s plenty to see and do around Doylestown. Check out Visit Bucks County and Doylestown Alive for local guides on shopping, dining, upcoming events, and more.

Doylestown is also home to the Michener Art Museum, Mercer Museum, and Fonthill Castle. You could also catch a movie at the historic County Theater, a local nonprofit arthouse theater dating back to 1938.

If you’re looking to grab lunch on your way to our office, feel free to reach out to your financial advisor and ask them for their favorite restaurant! Doylestown is a foodie’s paradise and many restaurants are within walking distance of our office.
